Event Description:
Youth groups are invited to come away to the mountains to enjoy a time to play and learn together. Think snow and look forward to the tubing hill, great worship times filled with singing, hikes by the lake, drinking hot chocolate together, and fun times. Your group will enjoy stronger relationships and shared memories, as well as connecting with others from around the state.

Churches will come together for large group times filled with singing, worship, recreation, and reflection.  A key note speaker will introduce a scripture and individual church groups will have the opportunity to be together during small group times to go deeper with these reflections. Free time opportunities will offer time to create, play, enjoy being outside, and time to relax.

Here's what some others have said about this retreat in the past:

"It's a great way to grow in faith and just have fun."

  • The retreat will kick off on Saturday at 2 pm.
  • The retreat will conclude Monday at 11 am following breakfast and a closing worship.
  • We are asking youth and adults to "unplug" from electronics during the retreat and "plug" into a time with each other, God, and nature. Please help your group prepare for this by asking them to not pack cell phones, i-pods, etc or leave them in the vehicle when they arrive.
  • Winter in the mountains can mean many things.  Please use the provided packing list to be best prepared.  LINK
  • Chaperons will be provided with basic resources related to the retreat theme so that you will be able to lead small group times with your group.
  • Volunteers to help with song leading, games, crafts, organizing free time options, worship, and more are appreciated.  Please call camp if there is an area you’d like to be involved in.
  • During the retreat all adults are asked to help supervise large group activities and snow play.
  • An orientation for all adult leaders will be given Saturday afternoon so that we can work together in making this retreat fun, and safe for everyone.
  • Groups arriving on Friday should arrange for their arrival time directly with the camp.  Saturday's breakfast and a sack lunch will be provided.
  • This event fills up quickly and routinely has a wait list, so it is important that all roster changes be communicated in a timely fashion.  When a cancellation occurs, a substitution of the same gender is possible while additions of campers or changes of gender may not possible since these changes impact housing assignments.
