You can come a little early and start your sewing projects in the main lodge anytime after 1pm on Thursday. Come for a weekend of fun, relaxation and quilting or sewing, while we share sacred threads of our lives. Bring your own projects to work on, quilts or whatever you like! We will provide a small voluntary group project. Participants can attend the Wallowa Mountain Quilters annual quilt show that weekend!(http://wallowamountainquilters.com/index.htm). Included in your stay you will enjoy fabulous meals including brunch with a continental breakfast… so you can sleep as long as you want, daily devotional time & fresh mountain air!
You will need to bring "normal camp stuff" (click here for a list of what to bring to Wallowa Lake Camp) plus your sewing machine and supplies. Ironing boards, irons, cutting mats, rulers and rotary cutters are provided. If you are are able to, please bring and Orphan Block (or more) of your own choice for a charity project.
If you have questions, you can contact the leader, Earlene Lamb at firstname.lastname@example.org. There is also a Facebook page called Sacred Threads Wallowa Lake Camp as well.
Wallowamountainquilters.com are hosting a two-day quilt show during our stay at Wallowa Lake. The theme for this year’s quilt show will be announced soon.
Husbands can be included in this retreat. There is lots to do in the area while the wives are sewing. For the husbands in attendance:
