At Camp Latgawa, we nurture our guests with healthy, home-cooked meals. Younger campers learn about responsibility through “Opportunities to Serve,” when they help set tables or clean up after meals, although serving one another in community is a value we share with guests of all ages. We teach stewardship of creation by using as many organic and local ingredients as possible. And of course, what meal would be complete being mindful and grateful for the bounty of the earth?
We want to keep every child, youth, and adult safe and well-fed at camp. We are experienced in accommodating diabetic, vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose intolerant, nut-free, and vegan needs. With your help in letting us know your needs prior to camp through the registration process, we are able to accommodate nearly all dietary needs.
